Re: A new member called Steve
Hi to all
I am new to the forum.
I bought my D25.2N E five years ago as a restoration project.I have only just found the time to work on it and started the work about a month ago.It is almost complete now as you can see from the picture. All i am waiting for is delivery of the seat cushion, new steering wheel and number plates.
Does any one know which year it was manufactured and what is the significance of the 'NE' after the D25.2? The serial number is 7531/1941.

Hi Steve,
Welcome to the "Forum des Tracteurs Deutz Anciens". You are our first english speaking member.
I am very happy to see that our forum attracts more and more people coming from all over Europe.
Of course, we are very interested in seeing the pictures (as many as possible) of the restoration of your D25 NE.
By the way, NE means: N = Normal wheels and E = Export.
The D25.2 was manufactured during the period 1960-1963. I have few datas about D25 in my database but I would say your tractor is from late 1962 or early 1963. To be confirmed.
Have you got a F2L712 or F2L812 engine?
